Forks over knives

“Oil is a highly processed junk food full of fat and calories and lacking nutrition”

That particular idea stays with me every time I read this particular article on saying no to oils. It seems like the market has convinced us that oils are not all bad and some might even have “nutrients”. Well, here we can see how comparing the whole foods from where the oils are extracted and even comparing the oils vs a chocolate bar shows how oils have nothing to give us. Nothing. Empty calories, fat and the false illusion that we are adding nutrients when really we could have a lot more food in our plate with real nutrients for the same amount of calories a since teaspoon of oil gives us.
